Old Court Metro Maintenance Facility
Maryland Transit Administration
Structural design of 2-story Metro maintenance building and “double-wall” retaining wall. The building design utilized a combination of structural shear walls and fixed moment connections to resist unbalanced horizontal earth pressure. Floor slabs were designed to accommodate maintenance vehicles and equipment storage. Also provided design for track vehicle inspection pits and employee parking lot.
Argonne Walkway
Morgan State University
Provided design for paved walkway with streetscaping and lighting. Also designed new parking lot, reconfigured existing parking lot, and realigned Perimeter Road.
US 219 Oakland By-Pass
Maryland State Highway Administration
Design for relocation of utilities for new roadway, including 400 feet of 8-inch sanitary line, 1,200 feet of 8-inch water line and 450 feet of 6-inch water line. Work was coordinated with City of Oakland’s water and sewer engineering staff.
